Many people will wear the same fragrance all year round, but it is really important that you have a summer fragrance for the warmer months. I have selected my personal top 10 fragrances for summer. When choosing my top 10 I tried to find brands of cologne that were popular and could be found easily at most department stores. This is a fantastic summer fragrance released in 2006. This was Dior's attempt at attracting younger customers, but I feel by doing so they actually created a very nice summer cologne. This is a classic citrus fragrance and arguably the best lemon scented cologne out at the moment. The citrus notes of Sport Dior balance well with fresh and spicy notes, which makes this cologne a real stand out. This fragrance uses the classic lemon and ginger combo with a base of lavender to create a really nice summer fragrance that most everyone will enjoy.

Nautica Oceans is obviously an aquatic fragrance that will bring salty, ocean air to your mind. This aquatic fragrance blends well with the citrus and floral notes to create a really fresh and pleasant fragrance. Nautica usually comes out with very traditional and simple cologne, but this one has some complexity to it which I really like.

As much as this pains me to say this is actually a really nice fragrance. Many people feel it is similar to the original Acqua di Gio, which is a cologne that is incredibly popular. This is a classic citrus fragrance with notes of oak moss. This is a great citrus, woody fragrance for summer.

This is another fresh, musky and uplifting fragrance that is perfect for those hot summer days. This cologne was inspired by the original Armani Code, but has more citrus and aquatic notes that are perfect for hot weather. This elegant fragrance reminds me of a fresh summer breeze. This is a fantastic fragrance that is a sure hit.

Versace Fraiche was inspired by the original Versace for Men. This edition is much more aquatic and fresh smelling which makes it perfect for wearing in the summer. This fragrance inspires the feeling of the Mediterranean with strong woody notes, abundance of citrus notes and sophisticated notes of saffron and rose. This fragrance will give you that fresh and clean feeling even in the hottest climates.

Hot Play is a very masculine summer fragrance that is fresh and spicy. This fragrance was released in 2007 and has notes of spices like nutmeg and pepper that are blended with freesia and musk. Lacoste has stated that this cologne was inspired by the heat of the sun. This is a unique summer fragrance that is truly going to impress.

This is a fresh and spicy fragrance that is perfect for summer. It is inspired by the original Acqua di Gio that was released in 1996. The original cologne is incredibly popular and this edition may become just as popular. The fragrance has aquatic notes blended with herbal citrus notes that are very similar to the original.
